She-ra Princess of Power!

I just watched the opening credits of She-Ra for the first time in probably 20 years. I loved that show. I so wanted to be She-Ra (or Princess Leia - I wasn't picky). It brought back all kinds of memories. Weren't the eighties great? As a kid I remember feeling like the toys and cartoons of that era were mind-blowingly awesome. Like spinning til I couldn't see straight on this baby (something I can no longer do - I tried rolling down the hill last year and was totally sick afterwards):

Racing around my best friends basement (which turned out to be Radon infested - I wonder if I lost any points on my SAT over that one)on this sweet ride:

Wanting and then being slightly creeped out at the same time by this talking bear:

Or bouncing through the kitchen on this ridiculous form of transportation (actually I had the generic or copy-cat brand the Lolo ball). When did I think this skill was going to come in handy?

The eighties were the best.

My brother and I had one of those bouncy ball things. I never could jump with it.

Wow. Every single one of those brought back serious childhood memories. I think I had all of them. Spoiled much :)

I remember your Lolo ball! That was funny because it wasn't a Pogo ball but it was just as good! I remember having so much fun with that thing...
