Going on a week and a half

Well we've been in Newton for a week and a half and so far so good. The neighborhood is great, the ward is great, and the people we have met are all really nice (except for the crotchety old man from the library but every town has at least one).

We went and listened to African music in the park, visited the lake,

walked with Jeff to work (it's only a 7 minute walk from home) and enjoyed each other's company in our still empty apartment. Yup, the moving truck STILL hasn't come. Don't even get me started. Suffice it to say, when you are looking for a moving company, STAY AWAY from North American Moving Co.

Other than not having any furniture or dishes etc. things have been going great. We miss all our friends back in Utah but being out here, even for a short time, has confirmed to us that this is where we are supposed to be.
