Art Envy

Happy Easter!!! Here's my feeble attempt at capturing the magic of the easter egg hunt at my parent's house. I think I've got a long way to go. I have to admit, I may or may not be the teensiest bit jealous of my friends' artistic skills. I have two friends who are professional photographers (one shot my wedding and one is in my ward, and was actually the first person to invite Jeff and I to dinner when we moved into the ward... Thanks Katherine!) anyway, I have several friends who are visual artists who do beautiful work. I am afraid that the only people that think I'm a good artist are under the age of seven. Sigh. And even then it's only the less discriminating seven year olds. Ah, to create or capture visual beauty. Well, even if I can't do it, I'm glad they are around and that I can share in their glory vicariously because I'm their friend. I'm sure that has something to do with their talent. Really.
