My adventures with Flat Stanley

Flat Stanley was sent to me by my niece Maya for a school project. Stanley needed to see the world so I decided to take him along on my business trip to San Jose, California. I outfitted him with some pretty chic glasses, cuff links, and a tie so he would blend in, and we were off! I arrived at the airport on Tuesday night with Stanley in tow and he kept me company in the security checkpoint line. I got lots of looks from people, but Stanley and I both think they were just admiring his cuff links. After a long day of working with a teacher, we decided it was time to hit San Francisco. Though I didn't let him drive, I did let him sit up front on the way there. We only had a few hours to spend in the city, so we walked around and spent some quality time in one of my favorite stores; H & M. Stanley and I both think it is an egregious oversight that there are no H & M's in Utah, but we keep hoping. I'm afraid I didn't take Stanley out for the dance class I taught to the music and P.E. teachers, but I think he had a good view from my purse. He watched as 30 mature adults turned in to giggling, smiling, dancing fools. It was great!!! Now that we are back in Utah, it is just about time to send Stanley back to Maya, and hopefully on to more adventures...

Flat Stanley looks quite dapper. I think my wife might have a paper doll we could hook him up with.

So, did Stanely enjoy the Ardenwood attic?
