Marathon Monday

The Boston Marathon is the best. I look forward to the Expo (it's a runner's paradise, all those free samples of different foods, new products to try and running celebrities to have awkward conversations with, it's awesome. Marathon Monday is so very, very inspiring. This race did not disapoint. My friend, Kristin and I waited on Heartbreak Hill, which is about mile 20 and cheered runners and wheelchairers on. It was CRAZY hot and you could see the toll it was taking on everyone. But for the most part, each runner was winning the epic struggle against fatigue, hitting your wall and coming up against a really long hill all at one time.

I'm not ashamed to say I cried a few times.
